error 1401 HP DATA PROTECTOR 4.0 SP1

Depois de muito me bater com uma unidade de fita HP com essa interface, toda hora gerando erro 1401 dizendo que a fita não é válida.

Workaround

For Windows:

1. Close HP Data Protector Express.
2. From the HP Data Protector Express backup server where the Encryption Kit is installed, open the dpdevice.ini file located in %SystemDrive%\Program Files\HP\Data Protector Express\config directory.
3. Open the dpdevice.ini file for editing (using Notepad or a similar editor).
4. Under the [class.scsi] section, add the following line:
   disableSecurityProtocol=Yes
5. Save the dpdevice.ini file and exit the editor.
6. Select Start > Run and enter services.msc , then click OK .
7. Find the Data Protector Express service and click Stop .
8. After the service has stopped, select the Data Protector Express service again, and click Start .
9. After the Data Protector Express service has started, exit the Services window.
10. Start HP Data Protector Express.
